How to use your Cyclebook Page

Getting started in 3 easy steps

Step 1 - Register for free

Register by clicking on  

Step 2 - Edit your profile

The first thing you need to do is click on the "edit" link and simply fill out the details and don't forget to upload a photo for your fellow peloton members to recognise you by.


Then "save & close"

Step 3 - Invite your friends to join your peloton

Click on the "invite" link enter your friends name and email address or select from the drop down list of registered Cyclerides members that appears when you type their name in the name field

Your invited peloton members will need to accept and register as a member to become part of your peloton.

Start inviting your friends now to make communicating with them so much easier.

Local and Non Local Peloton's

You have the choice to have your members in either your "local" Peloton or your "non Local" Peloton. Local peloton members should be those that you ride with in your local area as the name suggests, this will be useful for when you post a local ride.

You can move you friends between "Local Peloton" and "Non Local Peloton" by clicking on the green arrow . You can move members between these groups at any time.

You can delete members completely by clicking on the button.

You can visit your fellow peloton members pages from here by clicking on their name underneath their photo. You can visit their page and leave them a message on their mini blog.

Mini Blog

You can go to your peloton members pages and leave them a message on their mini blog, this message will also be sent to them by email as well as be displayed on their page.

Here are just some of the functions available from your CycleBook Page

- takes you to the Cyclerides website

- this button takes you back to your CycleBook page from wherever even if you are visiting one of your peloton's members page, you can also click here to refresh your page.

- click here to find a ride complete with map and elevation guide that has been uploaded by a Cyclerides member.

- If you are lucky enough to own a Garmin GPS device we need your help to build up the resource for all to share, you can uplaod direct frm your Garmin device to the website or you can upload an exported file. Detailed instructions on how to do this.

- add your comments to the cycling forum

- This link will take you to the Cyclerides Calendar where you can keep up to date on all the events that are happening everywhere, you can also post your event onto the Cyclerides calendar in the "post a ride" section of your CycleBook page.

- All the cycling news using live feeds from cycling news sources.

- Great deals on Garmin GPS devices.

- links to cycling related websites and information.

How to upload your ride

Post a Ride

This is a most useful tool for communicating with your cycling community, you can use this area to post a ride, an event or simply a message to be viewed and/or sent to either your local peloton only or all Cyclerides members.

No more ringing around trying to get a group ride happening, all you need to do is post your ride details here and it will show up on your local peloton members pages too, you can even choose to also send it out as an email.

Click on "new event or message"and simply fill out the details

Select date and time of event or for messages set the date/time that you would like the message to display until.

For messages only simply leave the locality and area fields blank.

Local Peloton Only events - will be displayed on your page and as well as you  your local peloton members pages.

Public and all peloton events - will be displayed on members of your pelotons pages as well as be posted on the Cyclerides Event Calendar
