The day we did this ride it was 42 degrees with massive NW wind in our faces so it made for a very tough ride.
Without the heat and the wind this is a fantastic ride, a nice long downhill to start along the highway before turning off at about the 25km mark to climb Mt Greneya, a nice not too steep climb, then it rolls along by the lake to Hume Weir and then onto Albury.
This is indeed a challenge, the hills keep coming and they are all high grade so there\'s not much rest.
The 2.5km Fitzs Hill is a particulary nasty climb on the way out.
I questioned whether I would make it at times but then I was too far into it to give up.
1st of two laps of the Manna Park XC race loop. This track has a bit of everything, including fast, hard dirt, tight trees, soft sandy, open double track, steep climbs, rock features, big berms, and rolling jumps and drops. Check-out the on-board video soon :)
This is a tough ride, heaps of high grade hills between Candelo and the highway near Bemboka.
Very nice scenic ride though and is highly recommended if you are looking for a challenge
